Versioning Principles
- The highest version should match live.
- Version folders are archives.
- Dev contains the latest version. Develop in Dev.
Release Procedure
Release to Test
- If the change was significant, create new version folder.
- Start FileZilla and connect to kissingfrog@kissingfrog.co.nz.
- [FileZilla] Copy from
C:\External Drives\USB Key - Kissing Frogs\KissingFrogs.co.nz\Test\Devto/kissingfrogs/test/. - Use test.kissingfrogs.co.nz to test.
- Test and revise.
Release to Live
- [FileZilla] Copy from
C:\External Drives\USB Key - Kissing Frogs\KissingFrogs.co.nz\Test\Devto/kissingfrogs/. - [Windows] Copy Dev to highest version folder.
- [FileZilla] Copy highest version folder to
/kissingfrogs/test/V99. - Test www.kissingfrogs.co.nz.
Adding A Newsletter
- Copy the PDF to
C:\External Drives\USB Key - Kissing Frogs\KissingFrogs.co.nz\Test\Dev\NewsLettersand rename appropriately. - Edit
C:\External Drives\USB Key - Kissing Frogs\KissingFrogs.co.nz\Test\Dev\Include\Resources_NewsLetters.inc - Push the two files up to
/kissingfrogs/and/kissingfrogs/test/V99. - Copy the two files to the highest version folder.
